Mr. Zbigniew Roskwitalski was elected Chairman of the International Forum for Cotton Promotion (IFCP) at the Annual Business Meeting of the membership held in Buenos Aires, Argentina on September 6, 2011.

Mr. Roskwitalski is the Executive Director of the Izba Bawelny w Gdyni (Gdynia Cotton Association). The meeting ran concurrently with the ICAC 70th Plenary Meeting.

Elected to the role of Vice Chairman is Mark Messura, Senior Vice President, Global Product Supply Chain Division, for U.S. based Cotton Incorporated, and Nayan C. Mirani, Vice President of the Cotton Association of India (CAI), will serve as Treasurer.

Jeffrey Silberman continues in the post of Executive Director of the IFCP. He is also the Chairperson of the Textile Development and Marketing Department at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in New York City.

According to Mr. Roskwitalski, “I am pleased to accept this honor once again and look forward to fulfilling the responsibilities of the post by moving the organization forward.”

The International Forum for Cotton Promotion (IFCP) provides a global informational exchange that encourages generic cotton demand enhancement activity. The IFCP provides examples of ways to inexpensively promote cotton on a sub-national, national, and transnational basis, in ways that can be replicated around the world. .The IFCP represents 14 member organizations from 11 countries.
