Public Consultation on the evaluation of EU Trade Defense Instruments

On behalf of the European Commission’s DG Trade we are currently evaluating EU trade defence instruments. The online survey has been developed to collect and discuss European industry views on the strengths and weaknesses of anti-dumping and anti-subsidy instruments and their use by DG Trade. Please take a moment to complete this survey (approx. 15-20 minutes). Questionnaire is available until the 31st July under the address:

Public Consultation on Third countries access to the EU Public Procurement market

The Commission-DG Trade- is currently conducting a Public Consultation on the terms and conditions in which Third Countries have access to the EU Public Procurement market. The main objective of this consultation is to help the Commission evaluate how to set proportionate, coherent and effective terms of access to the EU public procurement markets for foreign companies. A legislative initiative will come out of this Public Consultation that will also be used as negotiating leverage in Trade Agreements when it comes to improve the access of the EU companies to Public Procurement markets in Third Countries. The Public Consultation is open until the 2nd August.

Public Consultation on Trade and Development Communication

The Public Consultation on the (future) Trade and Development Communication has been launched on 21 June 2011. They will last 2 months. This online consultation will give a wide range of stakeholders the opportunity to submit their views and contribute to setting the agenda for European Trade and Development action in the coming years.
