GDYNIA COTTON ASSOCIATION becomes the new member of EUROCOTON

On 1 June 2005, the Gdynia Cotton Association was admitted among the members of EUROCOTON (Committee of the Cotton and Allied Textile Industries of EU).
We are the first member representing the recently admitted 10 countries of the EU. The membership in Eurocoton allows us to participate in the activities aiming at protection of both the European and Polish textile markets. The advantageous cooperation, the access to the Eurocoton statistics, as well as using them for optimal projecting of the cotton industry work will bring significant benefits to our members and to the whole Polish cotton industry.
Our enrollment among the members of Eurocoton took place in the year of the 70th Anniversary of the Gdynia Cotton Association. This is symbolically meaningful, because it opens new prospects for our activities, gives us new ways and motives for continuing our works for the sake of the whole textile industry in Poland, but we can also serve other coun.
