News European Ombudsman, Mr Nikiforos Diamandouros informs the European Commission’s consultative bodies, as well as civil society organisations of their right to submit complaints to Ombudsman concerning maladministration by the institutions and bodies of the European Union and of the other services, he can provide for them.
In twelve years of activity the European Ombudsman has handled more that 25.000 complaints and carried out over 3.000 inquiries into maladministration in the EU institutions and bodies.
