At the Extra-ordinary General Meeting of East India Cotton Association held on 30th April 2007, it was decided by the members to change the name of EICA to “Cotton Association of India” to reflect truly its all-India characteristic. The change of name was formally confirmed by the Statutory Authorities – the new Certificate of Incorporation was issued.
