Gdynia Cotton Association
Our projects
The Gdynia Cotton Association supports and promotes scientific and technological progress and developement in the clothing, and textile industries. We organize and co-organize numerous scientific conferences, seminars workshops and other industry meetings.
In co-operation with research institutes, we closely monitor industrial research and development activities aligned with the needs of the respective industry. The |GCA directly participates in projects and grant competitions.
CELPREG – Preimpregnated flax fibre laminate for processing under low pressure conditions
The project was carried out by the GCA together with the Institute of Natural Fibres and Medical Plants in Poznań in 2018-2020 as part of the 24th CORNET competition with the financial support of the National Centre for Research and Development.
NF – Plast – Natural Fiber strengthened bio-based thermoplastic – from renewable to reusable
